quick setting question

Can a simple 4 prong head made for a 6.5 mm round fit a 6.5mm cushion? Or is the diagonal length too long?

Something similar didn't work out for me, Niel. The local guy I use for routine work said he couldn't use the prongs-head "as is" because the face area was ~15% greater (IIRC the garnet was also a bit deeper). This was a mini-project where I wanted to keep costs down, so I just had him order a Stuller.

What size round setting would accommodate a 6.5 cushion? 7mm?
