Question re WF melee stones

I notice that all the pieces featuring small stones from WF are branded ACA. Why is this? Where do the "bad" small stones go? Or are all stones below a certain size branded ACA?

ETA: by pieces featuring small stones I mean pieces like Tennis bracelets, pendants, eternity bands etc

Melees are small diamonds that are 0.2 carats and smaller. WF ACA melees just means that those small diamonds are also cut to the exacting WF standards as their regular larger ACA stones.

They are gorgeous. I have a pic on here somewhere of where I took pics of my ring with the melee under H&A viewer to show the neat way they looked. I will find it in a minute.

Almost fell out of my chair laughing about that. My DH and I have a deal. I pretend to be interested in his fave video game (not my fave that he plays), and he pretends to be interested when I talk about diamonds and PS. We only have to do it for five minutes, but we have to to do it well.

We get the biggest kick out of it.

No one has answered my question yet. I''m simply asking where do the ''bad'' stones go, i.e. the melee''s which have been cut badly (I''m sure even WF cutters make mistakes once in a while) ? Do they have an ES or non-ACA selection of melee? Do they simply throw them out? Or do they brand every melee, good and bad, as ACA?

Well, since I don't work for Whiteflash's melee cutting department I have no idea...I would suggest calling them directly with that question!

This is why bad ones are not branded to answer your question. As to where the bad ones go, perhaps diamond purgatory? (Maul stores that specialize in bort, etc.) Dont'' really know.
