Question on sizing/maintenance for a VC preloved setting

Hi all,

Venturing over here from the CS forums to ask for advice!

Like so many others on here, I love the look of the VC Emilya, but an original is out of my budget. I might be able to get a preloved one that is very close in size to a CS I already have.

However, I would need to get the ring sized up 0.5-0.75 sizes. From what I have read, 0.5 sizes seems to be the limit, have those of you who resized seen a difference in durability of the ring?

Also, do you return the ring to Victor with the new stone to do the setting and sizing work?

From an etiquette perspective I am not sure how to deal with maintaining a preloved setting of such quality. I would hate to offend Victor.

I would contact him directly and explain you bought a preloved and ask him what he would charge to set and maintain the setting for you. If you don't want him to do it I guess you don't have to. That would be up to you. I would because I want to make sure I maintain the integrity of the setting.

I would definitely prefer to have him do the work. I'd tried the customer chat but I think they've been pretty busy so will try them again.
