Been lurking a while, thought I''d finally register and ask a question.
Between these two diamonds, which are both AGS0, is the reason the .96 is clearer because it''s an F, vs the .98 beeing a I? or is it just photography, as both are considered ideal accross cut, polish and symmetry.
Thanks in advance.

.98
.96

just photography.

Should I be wary at all of the inclusions on either diamond? Both are VS2.
ANY opinion on either two would be great!

Should not be a problem. Just ask GOG for opinions if you are still unsure.

I would spend the extra $400 for the F
For all practical purposes the only difference is the color.

I'm no diamond expert, but here's my two cents:

Yes, the I looks very slightly different in color from the F. But I am very sensitive to color. Something you have to keep in mind with diamond color is that most people are not sensitive enough to see any difference in an I and an F. If money is a concern, there is really no reason to pay more for an F. (If it isn't a concern and you reeeeally want that F, then go for it.) They are both well-cut diamonds, so both will have the most important quality of a diamond, which is light return.

Another thing to keep in mind is that it only looks clearer to you because you have something to compare it to. Once it's by its little lonesome, it won't look any different at all.

And as for clarity, in my experience, no one even notices. Really. VS is a GREAT clarity grade, the stones will be eyeclean. You have to really, really magnify (like seriously magnify, not use a loupe or magnifying glass) to see inclusions. And if they bother you, think of it the way a jewler explained it to me: inclusions are just the little imperfections that makes a diamond special and one-of-a-kind.

I''d also spring for the F for the small amount of difference in price.

Thanks for the input!
I also noticed that the F has a closer to square L/W ratio, 1.01 vs 1.03. Another thing is the table size difference, the .96 is 64% and the .98 is 57.6%. Is the bigger table the reason the Helium report states the Spread for the .96 is -.11.2% (-1.ct) and the .98 is -15.35% (-.13ct)?
