Does it rub the surrounding fingers raw? Did you have to get used to it?

I've been wearing my cheapy bezel band around this weekend just to make sure it's what I want as we are just about ready to pull the trigger on our wedding rings and the inside of my pinky finger is rubbed raw!

I'm not sure doing a half eternity would help as where it hurts is right where the pinky and ring finger sit together and I think a half would still sit there. Maybe it's the metal as this is silver and I will be ordering it in platinum.

I'd like to hear from those of you who have one on your experiences with these type bands and their comfort.

Mine never rubbed. The bezels are very smooth, so I actually think it's better than a prong-set eternity would be in that respect. Also, I think the higher ctw the band is, the likelier it is to rub because the depth is greater, therefore it will push your fingers apart more and rub against them more (if that makes sense).

Mine's a 3/4 eternity that I wear on my right hand, but I've never had a rubbing problem (although my shared prong sapphire ring does bother my surrounding fingers). I know some people's fingers are just more closely spaced than others - maybe that's it? I agree with Octavia though - the bigger the stones, the more it'll probably rub since it'll stick out more. Mine's very low carat so that might also be another reason I haven't had a problem with it.

Thanks ladies. The one I would be ordering would be 1 pointers and the one I have on now is 3/4 pointers.

ETA-the silver one I have on now feels rough to the touch if I run my fingers over it, do "real" ones feel smooth to the touch?

I've never had any problems with mine (3/4 eternity). I had a cheapie silver one that was a little scratchy though. My WF band feels a little bumpy if I rub my finger over it really hard, but I had never done that until you asked about it, LOL.

Thanks Gecko. I will be getting the same one as you so I was hoping to see you comment here. Thanks!

My Whiteflash bezel band is very similar to Gecko's ring, and I have had zero issues with it rubbing or irritating my other fingers. It's actually very, very comfortable and smooth.

Mine is very comfortable but maybe it is because they are small stones. I have never had any issues. Mine is a Bev K.

I have two of the same ones that Gecko has and have no issues whatsoever. I actually find them quite comfortable! Here's a pic for reference.

ETA: a better picture, even though it's a bit blurry!

Thank you all for your reassurance! I also noticed on WF's website that there is a 30 day return period, so I can order and see if it bothers me. I'm REALLY hoping its just the poor quality of the silver one.

Stepcut, I have a full eternity version by Brian Gavin Diamonds and I don't have any problems at all. I notice it on my right hand, but that's probably because I rarely wore a ring at all on that finger until this band. When I put it on my left, I don't even notice that it's there!

Mine has milgrain, so I could feel it rubbing the other fingers initially, but it was never uncomfortable enough for me to take it off :wink2:

Thanks ladies.
