Hi Ellen,

My ring came into day, but it is just a wee bit too small. You were so helpful when I was looking for an appraiserr (meet with her on Friday). I was wondering do you have a jeweler in this area you would trust with making a small size adjustment to a Leon ring? Now that its here I just dont want anyone to mess with it.

We ordered the ring a 5.25 because all of the 5.5 rings I tried on were too big, but it needs to be sized up a just a bit.
Thanks again for your help.

Hello I am from around St. L actually in St. Peters. I think you can take your ring to Clarkson Jewelers, Saeattles on Brentwood, Hamilton Jewelers. What part of STL are you at?
Can you post your ring???

I would love to post pictures of it, if only my boyfriend wasn''t holding it hostage at the moment. Something about a proposal

. It is currently mocking me sitting on our desk in its box. I did get to try it on after we picked up to make sure it fit. I''m hoping that this weekend or next week will be the big day. I live in St. Louis city. Thanks for the suggestions.

Hi RLG,

I remember you! Wow, a Leon. You lucky girl!

You''ve gotten a few suggestions from someone "over there", I''m across the river. I don''t know if kris has been to those jewelers and can attest to their work, hopefully they''ll say. I am not familar with anyone to recommend. But I definitely can say, please, please, do NOT go to Saettles.

Honestly, I would ask the appraiser when you go. Tell her you have a high end piece (of course, she''ll most likely be able to tell!), and ask her who THE most reputable person in St. Louis is, and go with them. That''s what I''d do.

That is a great suggestion. I will ask her. Thanks to you both for your help.

You''re welcome.

I hope everything goes well, and I hope that guy doesn''t hold on to that ring too long. We wanna seeeee!

Most recently, most of my jewelry work has been done by Paul Stuart Jeweler in ST. Peters. Since u live in STL city that would be far. When I lived out there, I did have work done by JRL on Hampton and he is very good and honest. Also Robinson Jewelers on Chippewa is very good. Hope this helps!
