I am considering an eternity band of bezelled rounds. I would like ACA stones. Does anyone know how small they are cut. I would like .15 to .2 all around and I am not sure if thats even possible.

okay i found some --i wasnt searching properly before. so my next question is how does one figure out how many .25 stones you would need for a size 6.5 eternity band?

Since this will be a custom piece I''d suggest you get a quote from WF.

Facets has a shared-prong eternity band. 6.78tcw which ends up being 15 stones (0.22ct each). But the metal for the bezel might take up more room and maybe 14 stones is more realistic.

That''ll be one thick ring! Are you sure it''ll be comfortable?

well i tried one similar at a B&M and it was super comfortable because it has no prongs I think........though the one i tried was one large stone (.2)then a smaller (.1) and so on........

6.78 ctw breaks down into .42 ct stones, not .22 ct, if I'm doing the math correctly. 0.22 ct x 15 stones = 3.30 ctw, which is a more manageable size, though still large.

actually this seems more like what i was thinking. the .27 stone at whiteflash was right about $500. which multiplied by 14 is $7000. I had been price comping and the ones i had tried was 9800 at a high-end B&M.

They have tiny ACAs! My wband has 1 pointer ACAs in it. Only 10 more sleeps till I get to wear it!

I think as a bezel set ring, it will be comfortable if set as low as possible, but I agree on the shared prong setting. Stones of that size aren't the most comfortable in a shared prong set eternity band, and it's not for everybody. I think it would be beautiful as a bezel set band though. Maybe with some milgraining? I personally LOVE milgraining, but it's not everyone's cup of tea. Just an idea.

OOPS! Sorry. Send me back to math class!

This will be a beautiful ring with bezelled rounds, I love that look in bands.

Lorelei: May I ask your opinion on the design? I am contemplating two different variations on the bezel set round theme. One is larger rounds with smaller rounds alternating. (ie .25, .1, .25, .1) OR all .25 ish. Thoughts?

Of course! My vote goes to the first option, it sounds lovely.

Bgray, our melee are plenty small enough to fit what you''re looking for. One of our customers wears toe rings with ACAs that are as small as .007 points!

does .10 for example count as melee?

Yes - melee ranges up to .25 typically.
