Hi, been lurking for a while trying to find out more information about the ideal (forgive the pun) rock for my SO.
I did find something that I like but am curious as to the perceived differences between an AGS excellent and ideal in terms of polish.
Will one be able to pick that out by eye? Thanks!

no.

No. Generally very good or even good and above polish will look the same to the naked untutored eye. You can find fantastic diamonds with AGS Excellent, if you have one in mind you could post the details here ( avoid the direct link to prevent poaching) and any images you might have if those aren''t marked so we can take a look for you.

To the naked eye, ideal, excellent and very good polish will look the same.
Good, fair or poor polish will have progressively more noticeable markings or dullness of the polish and I would avoid them.

Hi All,
Actually stones that have "good" polish and show visible effects from this are virtually non existent. The aspects that downgrade a stone from EX to VG, or even "Good" are not eye visible.

Thanks all for your replies. I think I''ll go ahead with this one. :)

Now you have to tell us the ct weight and color
