Question About My ring

So I've recently gotten engaged, and I love the ring. My fiancé knows nothing about the ring, stone or band and I just have a genuine curiosity. Can anyone help me figure out what kind of band and stone this is?? I know it's a six prong round cut stone but that's about it, lol.

You may want to post this in the Rocky Talky forum and/or contact an appraiser. Some people have mentioned if you take it to a pawn shop, they may be able to test it.
