Hey guys,
First of all let me reiterate that this site has been a phenominal help. I''m in the process of purchasing my first, and LAST, engagement ring. THe info here has been superb, and I expect to be troubling you for quite some time to come until I find the perfect diamond for me (and her).

So this question is about the Jubilee cut. I was in love with the Asscher, but then I saw a Jubilee and had to see more! Could you tell me what reputable online places carry Jubilees. Also, if I could get a general estimate for how much I should expect to pay for a stone that is about 1ct, very good cut, G-H color, and maybe VS1-VS2 clarity? Thanks so much in advance.

Good Old Gold is the only vendor that carries the jubilee online. I know Wink Jones also has them in stock, but I think he sells them only through his B&M shop (Wink, please correct me if I'm wrong!). Jonathan from Good Old Gold is great to work with--check out his website, and email him your cost questions!

They are priced very similarly to H&A's, perhaps a tiny bit more. I got mine from GoodOldGold and was very pleased with every facet of the transaction. Jonathan is awesome to work with, his staff are all aamzing and he went the extra mile to make the 10th anniv gift for my wife very special. Oh, and the Jubilee looks amazing.

There is a waiting list but I think they are getting caught up, definately worth the wait! I was lucky in that I got the very first one but I had to wait for several months and had to trust photos and Jonathan that it was perfect...

GOG is the only place to buy them online. Call them for pricing. They do have several in stock that haven't been sold but the availability is limited if you're looking for something specific.

This is the one I'm buying:

.85 H VVS1

I THINK that while Winkers can't advertise them online, he can certainly deal with you via the internet...and I love GOG....

I purchased a Jubilee from the first batch from Good Old Gold as well and plenty happy that I did. I think it looks best in office and daylight, no special lighting required to make it look great!

But it is very different than an Ascher. I love asschers too, very unique, but kind of expensive too. Because of the similar long singular facets as in an emerald, color and clarity have to be pretty high (or you have to have a real lenient tolerance), but they are in NO shortage of sparkle!

I recommend, you call GOG on the actual tele, and let them know your budget and wish list. They won't steer you wrong.

Here's some pics of mine.
