Question about HCA score

I have been ring shopping on and off for couple of months. When I looked at some rings with excellent symmetry and polish, they look great to the naked eye but on the HCA score poorly in the range of 3-4. Is HCA reliable source in determining a ring?

Though I''m not going to be able to provide much help, personally, like you, I can read here many experts who suggest positive HCA scores are consistent with nice looking diamonds. What are you going to do with another several opinions who don''t think much of it...just more singletons for you.

Serve yourself best by serving us, as well. See if you can find some diamonds that DO score 0 - 2, and let us know if you think they do or don''t look better than "great."
