quality of James Allen tension settings?

You always hear that tension settings should be purchased from the big players who have experience and the proper machinery.. GelinAbachi, Niessing, Kretchmer.

So my question is, does James Allen use the same equipment and technique, and can I be sure that the James Allen tension settings will be as durable as the well-known tension setting jewelers?

I called James Allen, and their customer service had no clue how they were made, saying they would have to actually call the manufacturer to find out that information. Does James Allen even make their own jewelry? I was quite surprised that they didn''t know how their own rings were made.

Does anyone have experience with a James Allen tension setting, or know if they use a comparable process to G&A?
