Hello all,
After a lot of lurking these past months, this is my first post, first thread ; lots of first today…
I recently received a lovely purplish pink sapphire, quite vivid and sparkly (seller video as I’m not a photograph...yet).
I’m now thinking about the setting, it’s the first time (another first ?!) I set a stone so any help or advise is welcome.
I’m thinking of setting it east-west on a discreet champagne gold ring, in a prong setting to let a maximum of light in.
I’m considering adding two small blue royal sapphire as side stones to contrast the purple pink and the champagne gold.
Tentatively, something like that with different center and side stones (photo enclosed).
What do you think ?
Would those 3 colours complement each other well ? What about deep blue zircon as side stones ? Their tealy blue might fit nicely with the purplish pink and they would bring a lot of sparkle.
Let me know as well if you have a totally different idea for the setting, I’m open.
Btw I am based in Singapore, I’m eager if you have any recommendations of good jewellers here.
Thanks for reading and have a good day + week-end !
