The Chihuahua puppies had some friends over today. Wangja, the Papillon (used to be my mom's but he now lives with my mom's friend, who also brought her Shih Tzu), and the Shih Tzu, whose name is pretty much impossible for me to phonetically render into English from Korean and so I'm not going to even try. Here are some pics of the dogs playing! Wangja is almost a year old, the Chihuahuas (Coco and Kola) are 6 mos. (Kola is the black and brown female, Coco is the black and white male), and the Shih Tzu is the grandma (he's around 10 I think).
The first 30 minutes or so were a little tense. The dogs were busy establishing a pecking order. Wangja definitely came out the top dog - in fact, Kola, the girl, was terrified of him for the first hour. Coco was a lot more aggressive but even so, both Chihuahua puppies quickly acknowledged Wangja as top dog (as you can see from some of the pics). Now they're all happily running around and having fun!
