Has anyone ever been to Wanna Buy a Watch in L.A.?

I fell for a ring style I saw at Single Stone, and then found something very similar at Wanna Buy a Watch. I''ll probably end up building a ring, but wondered if anyone had ever purchased off the rack or done any business with Wanna Buy a Ring...

The top (1.20 ct H VS2) and middle (1.52 ct H SI2) rings are from SS.... the bottom (1.04 ct I VS2) is from WBAW - all are OECs in platinum:

I see that nobody has responded - I was waiting because I haven''t dealt with them for a ring, per se. I saw a antique watch they listed online and ordered it...it was absolutely beautiful, but not right for me, and the return process was easy. They were very nice to work with. Sorry that I haven''t had any experience with them in dealing with rings or diamonds though.

I have admired WBAW stuff for a long time, but always thought they were a tad pricey. I''ve not ordered from them, though.

I''m currently working with Ari at singlestone and am thrilled thus far. I expect to receive my ring next week and can report back, but his customer service is excellent and he is very helpful.

From what I understand, Wanna Buy a Watch has a good reputation. However, they didn''t return my emails when I inquired about a couple of rings, so not sure what''s up with that.

Ditto what Erica said about Ari and Singlestone. I started working with him after considering Wanna Buy a Watch, Estate Diamond Jewelry, Art Deco Diamonds and Old World Diamonds. I can''t say enough good things about Singlestone.

The prices at WBAW seem a bit high, but I do like that third ring style a lot. Have you also looked at antiqueengagementrings.com? I understand that they are not great about returning emails, but I look at the rings (mostly for the stones) there regularly. The prices seem reasonable but some of the settings seem like they may be a bit fragile. Hard to know for sure.

I''m sorry I lost track of this thread - thanks for the replies!

I look at antiqueengagementrings.com AND Single Stone regularly (and longingly). I also look at oldworlddiamonds.com and all of the antique/vintage/estate jewelry sites I can ferret out.

Single Stone just seems like a terrific way to go - when the time comes. Right now, I''m just endeavoring to become more knowledgable and comfortable with this whole diamond thing. I''m a bargain-based organism, which leads me to strange places - probably not the best places to procure diamonds - but it''s fun.

I really appreciate all of your experiences and expertise -- thanks!
