I *always* read book club books the week before the meeting, Steal--we can plow through it together this week! (I haven't even started it yet, but I will definitely finish it by 12/1.)

That is sweet thank you. I'm not one of those excuses making people - honestly I can barely think straight at the moment never mind read straight. But I would have loved the distraction. I'm just saying I really want to do this - and handing in the note excusing me from this session - but keep my place for the next one in the New Year.
