Princess cut measurements

I have read about the ideal measurements for a round brilliant on your site, but what about the measurements for a 1ct princess cut? I''ve heard 5.5 x 5.5? Is that right?

5.5 x 5.5 is a nice measurement to aim for in a 1ct. princess.

My .90 is 5.2 x 5.2 How does that sound?

Hi,
It is a F color, Si1 depth=74 table=71, crown height, 13, lenght to width =1.0
I paid 4000. I know that I could have gotten a lower price online, but I wanted to see the stone and compare it to other stones and enjoy the experience of fininding the perfect stone for me, not just a perfect stone.....so it was worth the extra couple hundred.
Plus, I''m in CA where things seems to cost more than elsewhere...

PS- While no one wants to get "taken" when buying a diamond, sometimes you have to do your research and then follow your gut. I was practically going insane constantly reviewing this information for hours and hours. Someone has a quote on here to the effect of " It''s harder to find a mind clean stone than an eye clean one " THIS IS SO TRUE. IT get to the point that most people just need a nice stone at a nice price. What really matters is that you wear it in good health and happiness!!!
