Princess Cut - Circle of Seeds

We saw a 1.50 ct. Princess diamond. VS2, good symetry, good polish, but no other description for this stone. We looked at it under the scope 10X and 30X and it looked very good. However, when you look at the stone, you see what looks to me like a "circle of seeds" . Little black dots in a circle smack in the center of the stone. When you look at the stone under the spots in the store, they were negligible, but once you looked at it outside of the store, they were pretty noticible. What would caus this? There were no carbon spots when we looked at it under their scope.

What does the grading report show for inclusions?

Embarrassed to say, that there was no grading report on the card that accompanied this diamond. It's a Leo.
Also, this circle is almost perfectly round, so we're thinking it might be some sort of reflection (and not a good one).
