I have been searching around for a week now and this seems like a good diamond to me. I found it on one of the internet vendors. What do you guys think, it''s listed around $7,500. Every time I post one I learn something new that I should be looking for, any advice this time? Thanks in advance.

Carat weight: 1.50
Cut: Very Good
Color: H
Clarity: SI1
Depth %: 69.4%
Table %: 70%
Symmetry: Good
Polish: Very good
Girdle: Thin to very thick
Culet: None
Fluorescence: None
Measurements: 6.36x6.18x4.29 mm
Length/width ratio: 1.03

Also can you fit this size diamond into one of the thinner cathedral bands? Most of the ones I''ve checked out on the internet can only hold up to around 1.2 c.

Also, I'm still a little unclear on light return. Can you tell from these stats the potential for the diamond to sparkle? I appreciate all replies.

*potential* for sparkle may be better if you keep you table smaller than the depth!

I would pass on this one. I know people say symmetry doesn''t matter, but I can tell a difference in stones. More importantly, the girdle fluctuates too much for my taste. You''re on the right track, but with the table and depth so close you''d really need to know the crown height and see an ideal scope image.
