Pricing Euro cut diamond

I am looking for a Euro cut diamond. I have found a 1.95 carat J-K/VS2 round stone that I really like but I am not sure how the pricing should be for this particular cut. Does it follow the same guidelines as with the rap price sheet or are they more expensive, less expensive? I'm not sure.. The stone I saw did not have any paperwork or certification. The seller has a great reputation so I would feel comfortable buying from him. Any advice on Euro cut diamond buying would be greatly appreciated.

Do you mean an Old European cut diamond?

If so, I usually look for a comparable stone to see if the price is ballpark.

There are other places you can look too - Jewels by Grace and Love Affair Diamonds also stock old cuts.
