Price?

What is the market value of a Schlumberger Six Row Rope X ring engraved inside with a 1968 date? I looked up the current sales price and it seems to be $4,500. This ring needs cleaning, but I assume is fine underneath. What would you jewelers pay for it? (It''s *not* my ring!!!)

I looked at what Schlumberger rings had sold for on eBay, but there was no exact comparison. One person had paid $1,000 for the same ring in 18K gold but minus the diamonds. Other Schlumberger rings had different designs.
