Price Seems Too Good??

Hi,

My girlfriend and I have been shopping for engagement rings and found one she really likes yesterday at a jewelery store at a local mall. I've been research diamonds (starting from no knowledge) and my only problem is the prices seem almost too good and I'm afraid I'm missing something. The diamonds are EGL certified and the quotes they gave me are below. Seem fishy? I know I should ask about cut quality, table & pavilion dimensions. What other questions should I ask?

EGL graded stones are considered looser in color and clarity grading, often more than 2 grades off in each, and as such are discounted by the trade when selling to each other. These are then usually priced at about what their true grades will be if send to more consistent lab such as GIA/AGS and sold off as deals to the unsuspecting customers.

.90 G-H, SI2-I1 for the second stone....
