I'm new to Price Scope and shopping for engagement rings, so I wanted to get some feedback about a diamond...

1.24 carat round
I color
SI1 clarity
Excellent cut
Very Good polish
Excellent symmetry
Faint fluorescence
HCA Rating of 3.6 "worth buying if the price is right"
Light Return: Very Good
Fire: Very Good
Scintillation: Good
Spread: Very Good
56% table, 62.3% depth, 36 crown angle, 40.8 pavilion
GIA 6157916259

Price I'm being quoted is about $7300.

This is from a brick and mortar store, not online, so I'm wondering if people think I can find something better online for the price, or if the "price is right" as the HCA said. I know many people who have used this store, but I also don't want to be naive and assume it's great just because others recommend it.

Well, for reference you can get a 1.23 ct Whiteflash ACA with same color and clarity specs but less depth and better cut for around $7700 after PS and wire transfer discounts. Granted its not the most clean looking ACA I've seen. I'd be more inclined to look for something like that with a better cut or at least have someone knowledgeable on here look at light return images of the diamond you mentioned.

Keep looking, you can do much better.
