Price Change

I've been communicating the past couple of days with Luann from ID Jewelry on a particular setting. All of a sudden I go this evening to look at it again (online) after looking at at all day yesterday and earlier today, and the price increased by $200...it JUST happened! The last email I sent earlier today around 3:30p EST I asked if there was discount for PSers, I haven't heard anything back yet AND the price increased. Has this ever happened to anyone else..a vendor increases their prices on the exact item you are inquiring about?
That gave me a bad feeling....

Are you sure the price increased only for the item you are considering? Likely they have adjusted their prices to reflect the current gold prices, and they adjusted their entire inventory and not a single piece. I've noticed this happen with JA over the past 6 months as well, I paid $1100 for a setting and a week later it was $1290 and then a few weeks later dropped below the price I paid. I would send them another email and ask if you place the order immediately if they will honor the lower price, its unlikely but its worth asking. Good luck.

I don't know if they increased more items in their inventory because I was only focused on that one particular item. I will ask if they will honor the lower price...if not, I won't be purchasing anything...uuugh

quote the PRE increase price and remind them you've been talking to them.

Definitely ask if they will honor the pre-increase price. They did do so for me last spring.
