If comparing for example a brilliant (round) cut diamond with a princess cut or Asscher cut which would be the most expensive if the carat size, colour and clarity would be the same? What cut is the most expensive respectively the cheapest one of the most "common" cuts?

Also which diamond cut would have the biggest vs. smallest measurement (mm)?

I don''t have your answer, but I used the pricescope diamond search to research rb vs cushion. Keep your size very narrow, like 1.02 - 1.02 put the same clarity and color in for each cut. Then you can compare price & size. It Will start to get more complicated when you want a certain depth and table on each stone, but it might help you narrow it some.

From my previous searches and knowledge, princess cuts seem to be lower in price than RB, but RB seem to face up larger for the same carat size.

There have been some threads discussing how different sizes face up on here already, a search might be helpful to you.
Generally speaking, it seems that asschers face up the worst for their weight (they have to be cut deep) and that the shape that gives you the look of the biggest diamond for the weight would be the marquise. But there are some variations--some stones are cut for spread for example (usually though at the expense of some brilliance).

You have to understand the comparisons are not simple. Fancy shapes in general faceup smaller than rounds but they are also priced much less and often less than the difference in faceup size. If you want maximum faceup size for your dollar than an Oval or Marquise would give you the most spread.

If you compare cushion, asscher, princess to a round you will generally get more face up size in these per $ than you will from an round even though the round has more surface area per carat.

General rules are pretty useless though because Fancy shapes have varying proportions, you can see the in house listings to compare the faceup size in surface area to an ideal tolk round the spread in % tells you if it will be bigger or smaller than an ideal round with the same carat weight. This comparison only works for rounds and princess where the surface area can be calculated accurately.
