Gemstones are always welcome here too. I'd love to attend these but the times are not suited for me.

I'm much too busy for weekends and weeknights.

Perhaps, if this has not been done,
A gemstone session concentrating on 1 gemstone. Just talk about its properties, care, cutting styles and how it affects its brilliance, etc specific to that gemstone variety. Then the other sessions will be about another type of gemstone. Say, garnets one week, then, beryls another week for instance.

Another idea in the gemstone topic to discuss how to pick gemstones: judging colour (tone, hue and saturation, zoning), cut (windowing, faceting, extinction), and such.
