Which Nikkor 105mm micro lens do you have?
Does it have auto focus?
Aperture ring?
Vibration reduction?

I ask because I was considering getting the new one with vibration reduction and all those new coatings.
Mine is 30 years old.

The only problem is the bellows does not provide electrical connections.
That means on the bellows there would be no auto focus, vibration control and the aperture would be permanently stuck at f32.

Nikon's extension rings PK 11-13 have no electrical connections either.
So, do you have Kenko rings, which I think have connections.

There's a German company that makes bellows that I think have the connections but those are $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$.

I have a Sigma lens, and yes it's autofocus. I find for macro work I never use the auto focus, it spends too much time searching for the focus or focusing on the wrong thing. My rings are Kenko, but I only use one of the 3 rings and they do have connectors, everything would function with them. I shoot my stone on manual exposure, and manual focus.

I am thinking of upgrading to the Nikon 200mm macro. A longer working distance will improve the images, the price tag of the lens is a bit hard to swallow however.
