So provided that nothing "weird" comes back when whiteflash actually has the diamond in their hands, this will be the diamond I purchase, and I just want to know what thoughts you all have on it. Those of you who are always on here know that I''ve gone through many different diamonds, stressing myself out to find the perfect one.

Objections or concerns about this diamond?

Praises or congratulations on finding one that is great?

Here are the specs:

Princess Cut
EGL Certified
1.00 Carat
I color
VS1
Measurements: 5.73 x 5.29 x 3.82
Depth: 72.2%
Table: 68%
Crown Height: 14%
Pavillion Depth: 55%
Girdle: Thin (not completely sure what just thin means... unusally I''ve seen it as something to something, not just one word)
Polish: Very Good
Symmetry: Very Good
Culet: No
Flourescence: None

Did I do OK????

congratulations!! i''m sure you''ll be very happy with it!

what about the girdle description as just being "thin"?

is that ok?

i wouldn''t worry about thin, you just want to stay far away from extremely thin! (less than 1.0%)

I think those numbers look great. I can't wait to see pictures! I hope it works out for you, and you love it in person!

One thing that might be of tiny concern is the EGL "I" color. GIA is generally more strict on their grades -- so that might be more like a GIA J.

However, I prefer warmth in stones so this would not bother me. But that would be something I'd look closely at, just to be sure it looks white enough to you.

Also, I don't think it's uncommon for an EGL cert to use only one word to describe the girdle.
