By guesstimate: L/W is 7/5 and weight should be around 7 cts. The side stones have the same l/w (or could be a tad thinner - hard to tell) and would have the width about 0.4 of the center's.
The proportions I would bet on (it is easy to deduce from pic) but I would not bet on weight given how worked on the picture is, especially the lady's fingers. Besides, in the mentioned weight range, one carat up or down does not make a huge size difference (same size could reasonably be 5 or 7 cts, for ex)... so it is not easy to tell.
You could use the fancy shape selector at gemappraisers.com to tinker with the proportions and see what looks like the picture. And the "design your own ring" function at adiamondisforever.com could be useful to approximate the size of the sides...
Hope this helps
As for color... this means little to me, so I could not help much. I would think that the look of your J when tilted or fron the side from would be close to what a step cut does to diamond shades. However, size is quite important here - larger stones would always show more "color" than small ones, regardless of cut.
Kayla, I think an H color would be fine. I have seen a few H color EC's and you can see a little color, but it's not bad, just more so than in an H RB. I am not color sensitive, and think an H is perfect for EC's. Doesn't seem as though you are a color snob either with your J RB's. I've been looking for EC's H VS1, but I haven't found the right one for me, and am getting frustrated. So I have changed my course and I am now looking for RB's, H or I in color. So anyway, I say H color EC. Most of the cost will come from the clarity and size you want, but you can even find good VS2's if the inclusions are off to the side. Good luck! And I have no idea the size of the one in the pic, but it is gawgeous
