Possible setting for 1.5 Emerald Cut??

What do you guys think of this as a mounting for an 8 x 6 emerald cut? The price is great: in platinum, only around $850. Also, do you think it would look weird to wear my engagement ring on my left hand (shared prong eternity ring with round diamond) and this on my right hand?
