POLL - Opinion on a halo setting for a RHR

I would love to get your opinion on how to set my 2.3ct round diamond for a RHR! My finger size is 6 ¼ and the diamond is an “I” color. I am heavily leaning toward a subtle “cushion” shaped prong-set halo like in picture #2 below.

The first one is would be would be a tiffany soleste inspired ring with pink diamonds/RG on the inner halo. I tried one on at Tiffany’s and my only issue with it was the pink diamonds were microscopic at about .003ct on a 1 ct center stone and you couldn’t even tell they were there. Would it look ok to have at least ½ pointers if not slightly bigger (no more than 1 pointers)?

I have seen very few rose gold rings with diamonds IRL and the few I have were poorly made and looked cheap. But, Wildunc1’s is beautiful! (by ERD, picture attached) I know I prefer the rosy color vs. the yellowish color of RG, so I am hesitant it won’t turn out as I envision.

I also like the idea of a double halo with yellow diamonds/YG on the inner halo, but I have never seen one with a white center diamond and the yellow makes me really nervous that it will be too dark or even greenish. I like lemony yellow. So seems too risky that I will like it.

As far as the jeweler, I am thinking of having ERD do a CAD or hand forged. If this was my ering I would definitely have SK or VC make it, but at this point, I am not sure I want to make the additional investment for a RHR.

For context, my engagement ring is a 3.25ct MRB with pear side stones by SK (avatar). I will be grateful for any feedback, advice and pros/cons that you can provide!!!

I love the idea. I think with a 3 stone e-ring, a halo is a good plan for the RHR. I prefer the pink inner halo, however good pink diamonds will be pricey. I might consider a split shank or something to make it look a little less like an e-ring. Not sure if I have any good examples but I will look.

The second ring is beautiful, but it looks like an e-ring and not a right hand ring to me. I'd have to do a split shank or side stones or something to make it look more like a RHR.

The holy grail of halo rings with pink diamonds, as far as I am concerned, is the one Mike Robinson made for ZaharaLeyla. I dream of having something related to this as well, but I would not copy this ring, just to be clear. I would have Mike make something different. I look forward to seeing what you decide!

Thanks Diamondseeker2006 for the input! I am glad you don't think I am nuts with the double halo/pink diamonds!! I am hoping the pink diamond melee is in the price range I have in my head (from looking at SmallSparkle's PS thread in 2010). I plan on getting quotes soon, so I guess I will find out! Thanks for posting ZaharaLeyla's ring too, I have it saved on my phone
