polishing cloth

'Water soluble Diamond Spray manufactured with Monocrystalline Diamond Powder.
Recommended for use on Polishing Cloths.'

If you use such a spray on polishing cloths, isn't there a risk that you scratch your diamond, even if the abrasions are only visible under very strong magnification?

Does it say its for use on diamonds or is it meant for settings? I wouldn't use a polishing cloth on my stone.

I don't know. But I even have such a cloth at home.
When you polish your ring, the cloth becomes dark.
I saw a lot of jewelers do this on rings with diamonds...
