Polish and symmetry?

I am interested in a stone that is Excellent cut, very good for polish and symmetry. HCA 2.5. How will the very good polish and symmetry affect the stone?

Would have to see magnified image of the stone and an idealscope image to consider a stone with vg symmetry. VG polish is okay. I personally prefer EX on both, though.
