POJ "Maven Collection":

I have been wanting blue akoya pearls for some time now. Kevin was wonderful to work with and I ended up choosing a Japanese akoya strand, rather than the Vietnamese akoya, due to shape and overtones. I think the bluest strands were sold out by the time we started communicating, and I know this is not my last blue akoya strand. (Twisting the below with a future strand is something I look forward to!) At my request, Kevin removed two pearls and made hanging earring jackets to wear with my diamond studs.

I also got a Maven Collection fireball and let me tell you, the metallic luster, lovely overtones and beguiling feminine shape are out of this world! When I'm in a "non-Goddess" pendant mood -- this baby will be around my neck! Also, the chain is delicate and sparkles in the light.

Somehow, these two seemed complimentary so I wore them together today. I am a happy camper!

I wore the blue akoya strand by itself today. After work I decided to twist it with my POJ metallic drop strand.

What mm are they, if you don't mind my asking?
They look in the 9mm range, but it's hard to tell on your slender neck!

I just picked up a pair of the color-shifting FWP earrings in the darkest colorway. Can't wait to see them in person.
