I''M ENGAGED!!!! I got engaged on June 25th on the first day of my cruise vacation!! I just got back yesterday, so I haven''t had the chance to post pics yet!! My *fiance* (I''m still trying to get used to saying that instead of boyfriend!!) and I are sooooo excited!!
Story: On the first day of our cruise we were in our room and I started unpacking my suitcase. My boyfriend started saying that he was going to do a somersault/flip on the bed (for some reason whenever we''re on vacation this is something he usually does in the beginning of vacation..haha). Since we were on a cruise and our room was smaller than a typical hotel room, I was telling him that he shouldn''t do it because he may get hurt. Also...he lost his medical insurance card about a month ago and hasn''t obtained a new one yet, so I was telling him that since he doesn''t have his card he has to be careful not to get hurt! So..he did a couple of somersaults and then with one of them he did he landed on his knees on the ground right in front of me. He was saying that he hurt himself a little..and I asked him not to do it again because I was afraid he was going to get really hurt! I turned away for a few seconds and when I turned back towards him he was on one knee with the ring box open!!! I was so surprised! He was saying how much he loves me and some other things as well (honestly I was so surprised that I don''t remember what he even said!!) and then he asked me to marry him!!!!!
The diamond is from Mark Turnowski at ERD and is set in Mark Morrell''s Petite Torchiere. It is 1.7 carats, I color, SI1 clarity -- it''s beautiful!!
