Bleeblue - Thank you! Have you visited the coloured stones forum yet? That''s where you should start doing some research on a sapphire asscher. Neatfreak has one of the most beautiful asscher sapphire rings I have ever seen. Personally, I have asschers from Gene at Precision Gem, Peter Torraca, Gary Braun at Finewater Gems, and one coming from Jeff White, and I have to say I''d be happy with any one of them cutting a sapphire for me - slight edge to Gene, but I haven''t seen my Jeff asscher in person yet.

Starburst - thank you! The baguette bands came from a small mall store (I know, HORRORS) here in Dallas called Tuscany Jewelers. They''re incredibly delicate at about 1mm each, but I love wearing them stacked with my e-ring for a little extra bling!

I don''t have a bezel set asscher but i do have a blue sapphire asscher and since you are looking into them I thought I would post mine. For some reason it looks off color in the middle but that is not in RL- I think it was the weird flash.

D&T, do you know who designed that setting? I was eyeing an emerald cut tourmaline, and that setting would have been perfect. (Of course, I waited too long, and now someone else has it,

so I am waiting for another to catch my eye.)
