Looking at a new styles of halos, some seem to run quite large, like 11mm north to south - this would be a great place to post your pics here so we can compare how it actually looks on the hand and your opinions on it! Please be sure to write your finger size so we can get idea of finger covg too.

Here is my VC Emilya halo. I believe it is 11.5mm.

I also have a .93ct FLY in a custom WF double halo that is 9.5mm.

5 carat Mahenge spinel, measuring 12 x 8 mm on a size 4.5 finger. I have no idea of the dimensions of the ring itself with the halo but I think it has to be at least 13 x 9 mm. The ring was custom made by Whiteflash, partially funded by Pricescope's gift to me for my 10K posts.

Just remembered about this one too. It is a 5.02 ct Loliondo spessartite precision cut by Jeff White, measuring 9.6 x 9.6 mm. The setting is a simple generic Stuller halo, prior to a reset into a Whiteflash custom mount. On a size 4.5 finger. With the added halo, I guesstimate the ring to measure at least 10 x 10 mm.

This is a pic of my previous e-ring. The diamond is 7.8 mm and the halo was maybe 1.6 mm on each side? Total = 11 mm or so on a size 6.25.

Here's mine. The stone is 9.4 x 9.9mm and the halo width is 1.8mm, so let's assume the face is ~13mm wide. I'm a size 4.5.

I find it large and blingy, but not overly so. I wear it daily.

I love all the rings in here! MY ER is 12mm n - s with the halo. My stone is not quite 9mm. My finger size is 4.5 but ring is 5 with a sizing bridge due to huge knuckles.

My Sapphire halo is also pretty large, 13mm overall with just under 11mm sapphire.

I love large halos! All of mine are roughly size 7.

A 6.34ct Namibian Spessartite in a 14 x 12mm halo.




The halo on this amethyst measures 11.14mm.




My first precision cut colored stone was a morganite, and the halo is just over 12mm.
