Hi Turial,

Both look promising, you picked two potentially good stones there as far as I can tell, well done! From the info we have, I would request an Idealscope image for each which JA can supply on request, but I believe they supply 3 then the client has to pay a fee for any extra images after that, someone please correct me if I am wrong.

Check both are eye clean to your personal specifications so you aren't disappointed. If you don't want to see any visible inclusions in any lighting or from any angle or distance, please be very specific with the vendor so they can have the best chance of advising you accurately. The second diamond notes a cloud as a clarity characteristic, there shouldn't be a problem in SI1 but I tend to lean towards caution, ask the vendor to inspect the stone to make sure the cloud isn't negatively impacting the brilliance or transparency of the stone, unlikely in SI1 but never hurts to check.

I hope this helps, let us know how you get on and please ask should you have any more questions or concerns!

Thank you!
I don't want the inclusion to been seen in any light or angle as you explained. Do you think first one would show?

You are most welcome Turial. :wavey:

As to whether the inclusion would show or not, I wouldn't be able to comment unfortunately as that could mislead you, there are boundaries as consumer advisors we cannot cross and this is one of them as there are so many variables, determining whether a diamond is eye clean or not is always the job of the expert with the stone in hand. The best thing to do is to contact James Allen, tell them what you posted above concerning your expectations, then get one of their gemologists to inspect and discuss the stone with you. That way you will have a much better idea whether the diamonds you have in mind are suitable. They are dealing with this all the time and will be able to advise you.

Sorry I can't be of more help with that but consulting the vendor above is the best way to proceed.

thank you again! :wavey:

No need to apologize turial, that's what we are here for, ask away! You are doing a brilliant job selecting, this diamond also has very good proportions and would be well worth requesting an Idealscope image if determined to be eye clean to your specifications.
