It's fun hunting for the one and today I came across two that I had envisioned would work. My jeweler is giving me a deal if I buy both, because I love them both. I don't plan to stack them, I plan to rotate them as the mood strikes. But before I commit, I could really use more opinions!
Thanks again!

Better pic of B

Hi Braga!
I voted 'none'. I love your ring as a standalone ring or perhaps paired with a smaller and simpler band. Out of the two options, I like option A better.

But more important: which option do you prefer at this moment?

Happy hunting! :wavey:

I voted none. I think a band the same width as your diamond would be better. I think your bands are pretty, but not with that pairing.

I like the first one :))

B. It's substantial and gorgeous.

Both beautiful bands on their own but because the widths are so different from your ER I don't love either of them with your ER. But it comes down to personal aesthetics so there is no right or wrong answer here. If you prefer one or love one then you have your answer. I love neither with your ring but I'm not the one wearing it. Gorgeous ER no matter the band you choose!

neither of those complement your engagement ring. The one on your pointer finger in the second photograph may work. However unless it sits flush, would not put any ring with your engagement ring. Have you considered custom?

If I had to pick one, I would pick #1. I love the style! But, I think a much thinner band and less of a gap between the ering and band would work better. As others have said, you are the one that has to love it though!!

Every band I've seen you post has looked too busy. I thought it was the (gorgeous) ruffly look of the illusion setting. But actually I think it's the huge gap which I know your ring can't fix. I don't think any ring will look right with that big of a gap. I know you said on my other post that it's important to you to wear both rings on your left hand. I get that and I think I'll be in the same boat soon! So is it possible for a lower profile ring to sit slightly under your ering to lessen the gap? I suspect many rings will look wonderful if you're able to close that gap more...not flush but reducing it by say half.

I was trying to find profile shots and noticed this eternity band with your ering. I think it's perfect even with the gap! Any reason why you don't want to pair it with your e ring?

Thanks to everyone for voting and especially for taking the time comment.

Redroze-I no longer have that eternity! I traded it up to my jeweler when I did my second reset. My current setting was my original setting, but I tried different ones and finally went back to this one.

I get what everyone is saying about the widths of the bands on both of these and the wide gaps. I have tried bands that match my e-ring exactly, but to my eyes, they look just OK.

I love the marquise and round bezel band because it adds contrast, bling and a vintage feel.
I love the single cut band because it adds bling and those single cuts are so gorgeous IRL, plus they add the antique feel to my ring.

I have the option of redesigning my other setting or trading it up for another setting,

but I don't know if I am ready to part with this setting yet. I like this setting because I think it suits my stone, and adds a halo without adding the diamonds. Don't get me wrong, I looove halos, but I have resisted going back to a halo because now that I upgraded to a 2.24, I kind of want to appreciate the size difference that I paid for. But part of me still wonders if I should go halo, or just keep adding to this antique look.

These bands are estate, and he is selling both for $800 total, which is why I am even more tempted!

So maybe I should have asked if these bands add a vintage feel to my ring?

I love your solitaire! Can I ask about the setting itself? Do you have a side view? I love the cup setting sans pave.

I love them both! The only thing I'd personally change for myself would be to have milgrain added, if possible. I want a band like A myself if I stick with a simple e-ring setting. And certainly, you can't go wrong with B, either. I think the widths are perfect. With a thin plain e-ring shank, I could easily go as wide as 3mm on the wedding band. I would not want a wedding band as thin as the e-ring unless wearing two bands. The gap doesn't bother me, either!
