Please help me...re: asscher diamond/sapphire eternity band.

Hello

I am in search of a band like this : http://www.signedpieces.com/item.cfm?item_id=688.

This morning, my FI and I went to the mall just to get an idea of what kind of wedding bands we want. I tried on several and did not like any of them and kept thinking about the one I mentioned above. I told them what I was looking for and they all looked at me like I was crazy! One sales lady told me that it could not be done!

so I told her that I saw one online and she looked really surprised. Then she proceeded to insinuate that buying from online vendors is a really bad idea. Whatever....my FI bought my stone from an online vendor and I LOVE it.

My question is where else can I find an asscher cut diamond and sapphire eternity band? I would really like to try it on before I buy. Also, I don''t know of any local (Austin, TX) jewelers that can custom make one for me

Are you mostly worried about the ring size, or the size of the stones?

I can''t think of anywhere that would have the Asscher Sapphire/Diamond combo in house, maybe a higher end B&M. BB&B or Tiffany may be the closest options - so you can get an idea of size. Do you guys have a Bachman''s down there? (I''m in Dallas)

However, Signed Pieces has a wonderful reputation for a reason - I''ve sent severall friends to them for wedding and eternity bands, and no one has ever returned it.

I would check their return policy, but I would think it would give you plenty of time to try it out, and if it doesn''t work, you just ship it back.

Agree totally with Lauren.

With SP, you know you are getting a good quality product for sure, and their prices are great. I believe their return policy is good..I would order it, and if you happen to not like it, I dont think there would be a problem sending it back. Just call them to confirm.

Thanks for the quick response! My current ering is 2.1mm wide, eventually I am going to get it reset but I really want to stay under 3mm (if it is possible for a 3 stone ring). The band from signedpieces is perfect because it is not too wide but I really wanted to try it on with my ec ering to see what it would look like together. Also, their website states that it may take up to 3 - 4 weeks for delivery but my FI wants to get married in April so I am running out of time...

There is no Bachman''s here in Austin, do they have something similar there? My FI''s parents live in Dallas so maybe I need to make a trip up there to see my FMIL''s jeweler and stop by Bachman''s. I never even thought if going to Tiffany''s or BB&B...thanks!

That is a beautiful ring, and I have never seen anything like it in a B&M. They have a 30 day return policy, so I would just purchase the band and see what you think once it arrives.

I''ve had my eyes on this ring forever! I love it, just wish I could afford it.

Tiffany & co have a couple that are close but none that are actually all that close. Their asscher and diamond alternating is channel set and when I asked if they did it in shared-prong they didn''t. I truly never found a close match anywhere else.

I just saw Tiffany's channel set band and 6k for a wedding band is kinda out of our price range!

I didn't see anything on bb&b's website either...
I will have to call SignedPieces and talk to them.

Natural Sapphire Co might have something similar if you ask, but they aren''t close to you to try on.

Yes, you are right! I do want to try it on in person.

My FI might have a heart attack while I''m trying it on at Tiffany''s though...lol.
I will definitely stop by Tiffany''s to try it on. Thanks again!
