Hello all. I''ve been trying to get educated about diamonds because after fifteen years of marriage we have finally decided to spend some money on me

. I''m so excited! I''ve already purchased an A Jaffe set which I''ll try and post (as soon as I can figure out how to do it). Could you all let me know what you think of this diamond? My #1 desire is a good cut and then it would probably be color. If you don''t like this one, then please feel free to spend my money

. We''re thinking about $7, 500 would be our maximum. Thank you so much. We really appreciate it.

That''s a nice stone, and an "F" color is of course just fine. My only concern would be the inclusion. At 40X you can see it - right down the table - but of course no one is carrying around a 40X microscope. I would call the people at White Flash and ask them if the inclusion is visible to the naked eye. If not, the stone is beautiful.

Here''s the ring:)

Wow. That was quick. I''ll try that. Do they usually give you an honest opinion even though they may not end up selling it? Thanks for all your help.

you can''t go wrong with an aca. great pick!
if eyeclean is important to you, then definitely find out if this stone could be considered so. they will be honest. they don''t want diamonds sent back. it''s a hassle for everyone.

Yes. White Flash is of the highest reputation. Run a search for "White Flash" (or "WF" or "Whiteflash") and you''ll see that the people on this forum overwhelmingly recommend them.

I would be confident in trusting them to tell you whether the inclusion is noticeable. I''m sure they would also have other recommendations for you if for whatever reason you are no longer happy with the stone you chose.

White Flash also has some great benefits, like a good return policy if the stone doesn''t suit you once you''ve seen it, plus a 100% trade-up policy, where you can trade in your stone for a better one for 100% of your purchase price. I think they also offer a modest Pricescope discount (like 5%?) for people who visit this forum. Just ask for the PriceScope discount.

Yes, before I finally picked my diamond, I gave them a list of other possibilities and Bob (he was the one helping me) gave me his opinion of the diamonds whether they were eye clean or not and his recommendations even though the 2 he had recommended were actually less than the ones that weren''t eye clean. I ended picking the one I had originally chosen and I''m still waiting for my finished ring! I''m so excited for you!!! Whiteflash has been great to work with even with my constant change of mind. I''ve promised Bob that there will be no more than changes so it can be worked on and I should get it by Nov 9th!!!

I''ve only heard the best about the ACA diamonds so I''m sure you will love it! Mine is not an ACA because it''s an Xfactor and everyone here have complimented me on it because I had posted pics and specs of the diamonds.

Good luck in your search!

Looks like a great diamond Sparkle! I agree, it''s pretty hard to go wrong with an ACA. Let us know what you decide!

Umm, do y''all have ESP or something? I don''t see the color or clarity listed or a link to be able to see the inclusions.

You are the cutest.

Because the specs listed the stone as "A Cut Above", the diamond was clearly from WF. After that, it was simply a matter of searching for ACA stones with a 1.106 carat weight. There were only two, and of those, only one matched the above specs perfectly (regarding all the angles and percentages). That's how I saw the color, clarity and inclusions.

I''m going to do a search of your pics. I''ve never heard of that.

Now you are a true PriceScoper for doing that!!! I look at links for stones, but you''re really dedicated!

OMG, that was too funny. You all are fun AND helpful. What could be better?

Thank you. I''m going to call Whiteflash on Monday. I''m going to have a house full of people this weekend, so I won''t have much time to indulge in shopping, but I am getting to excited I can hardly wait.
