I am very glad to find this forum at this moment as I plann to propose to my gf.I have read a lot of posts about ACA VS ES on WF but still couldn''t decide which one to go for.Hope you guys can help me out here!
Both stones are F color VS1
ACA''s numbers:
. Report: AGS
. Shape: A Cut Above H&A
. Depth %: 61
. Table %: 56.7
. Crown Angle: 34.7
. Crown %: 15
. Star : 55
. Pavilion Angle: 40.8
. Pavilion %: 43
. Lower Girdle %: 78
. Girdle: Thin to Medium Faceted
. Light Performance: 0
. Polish: Ideal
. Symmetry: Ideal
. Culet: Pointed
. Fluorescence: Negligible
The thing that makes me think is that it has a cloud and a crystle in it.I don''t how big it would show.
ES stone''s numbers:
Report: GIA
. Shape: Round Ideal Cut
. Depth %: 60.8
. Table %: 56
. Crown Angle: 35.2
. Crown %: 15.7
. Pavilion Angle: 41
. Pavilion %: 43.3
. Girdle: very thin to thin faceted
. Polish: Excellent
. Symmetry: Excellent
. Culet: None
. Fluorescence: None
The thing that worries me here is that it is 3 years old,are there some hidden reasons that it is not sold?
The ACA is only couple of hundred dollars more expensive and their idealscope looks very very very close. But the ES stone is 0.04carat bigger than the ACA one.So this is hard for me to decide.Shall I go for bigger or better cut?And how big effect is the cloud? The pics looks great for both of them. Thanks guys!
