I am choosing between the below two round diamonds for a three-stone ring. It will be set between two 0.5ct diamonds.
Carat: 2.07ct
Color: D
Clarity: SI1
Cut: Ideal
Symmetry: Excellent
Polish: Excellent
Measurement: 8.18 - 8.22 x 5.06mm
Depth: 61.8%
Table: 56.5%
Crown: 34.3
Pavilion: 41
Girdle thickness: medium (faceted)
HCA cut advisor score: 1.6
Carat: 2.03ct
Color: D
Clarity: VS2
Cut: Ideal
Symmetry: Excellent
Polish: Excellent
Measurement: 8.09 - 8.15 x 5.00mm
Depth: 61.6%
Table: 57%
Crown: 35.2
Pavilion: 40.7
Girdle thickness: medium to slightly thick (faceted)
HCA cut advisor score: 1.4
Hearts and arrows
Both diamonds look eye clean to me, but I'm a bit of a novice. The 2.03ct is about 20% more expensive than the 2.07ct. While I can stretch for the more expensive stone, I would really appreciate any opinions on whether it's "worth" the jump in price for the better clarity and hearts/arrows.
Any help would be very appreciated! Thank you so much.
