Please help select one of these, based on the criteria I decided to go with. These are from BN, sight unseen. I read many discussions and fully inderstand the limitations of inclusion mappings on the reports, however, I filtered the results based on subjective analysis of the location, type of inclusions, and quantity. The stone will be set on a white-gold ring with channel-set side diamonds. If there are any other recommendations or any assumptions that I’m making that are seriously flawed, please let me know. Everyone’s help is immensely appreciated.

CRITERIA: Round Brilliant Cut; 1.0-1.1 ct; G-Color; SI1-Clarity; EX-Cut; EX-Polish; EX-Clarity; Med/Faint/None-Flourecence; 59%-63% Depth; 52%-58% Table; $7,000-$8,000 Price Range; GIA or AGL Certified

Looks promising from the numbers, ask if eye-clean, do not assume all SI1 are,. Be careful of the GIA stone with 40.6 PA, those might have some obstruction issue.
Thanks Stone-Cold for reply! If I understand correctly, BN does not stock the diamonds they sell so they wouldn’t know if they are eye clean, or would they? Which 41.6 PA you think has obstruction issues? This one LD02269857seems to have the best HCA (0.7) but would the twinning wisps be an issue?

That grading report is the kiss of death if you ever tried to sell the stone.
However all the other 40.6 pav stones are slightly deepish and may have leakage, not obstruction issues - especially ones with +35.5 crown angles.

Thanks for your comments Garry H. If I understand you correctly, that report doesn't look good, and the crown angle for the other ones is too high. How about the first 2, their angles seem to be better?

Dont like the imagery on the clarity plot of the other stone! Killer.
The first stone appears safer than the second (which has a cloud as the main grade maker). The first stone may have an eye visible inclusion for people who can focus from 6-8 inches. but you get over that after a decade and your lucky if you can even still see a 1ct diamond. Shrinkage its called!
