I love this setting, but before telling my boyfriend that it''s definitely the one I want I would love to hear your thoughts on it!

Would it look good with a 1 carat stone? a 1.2 carat?
Are the side stones too small? (.35 carat tw)
Is $950 a good price for it? I don''t want him to overpay!

The setting is very lovely! Of course, I love the antique styles so I MAY be biased.

I'm sure a diamond of 1 to 1.2 would look great in that setting. The description stated that a stone from .75 to 1.50 would work. Regarding the side stones, I've seen nice 3-stone settings with smaller side stones, and the effect was very nice. It may be more appropriate with the amount of detail the filigree ring will offer, so as to not overshadow the beauty of the ring itself.

Also, the price sounds like a fair to me!
