Please can somelook at these certs on these studs? Good?

Hi,

Im sorry if i am asking silly questions, but can someone tell me what they think about these? Im looking for a pair of diamond studs.

Out of the 10 or so pairs, even if they have had excellent cut on GIA, these have the best HCA score. I am dealing with a few vendors, so i want to narrow the diamonds down before i visit them. Also i find it hard to compare in my mind if they are not side by side, and as they are not from the same vendor, i cant do that. I have asked him about the visability of the inclusions, i havent heard back yet...

I havent seen them in person, i have to decide which ones to short list before the jeweller calls them in...

The price is roughly 10 back from the Rap price so approx 7200usd.

Any thoughts please? These are for my wedding present from my DH so they are very special to me, and i am very nervous not to buy something wonderful.

I would try to get a closer match for studs (they seem to have different types of cuts...you might not notice on the ears but it should be easy enough to find a match). Also, I would not buy a RB with only 'good' symmetry.

Hi Slg,

actually as i live in HK i wanted to get them here so i can look at them, and not get them sent over from the US. But these do look great, i just need to find them here.

Unfortunately i heard back that one of the stones has a carbon spot in the middle of the table so they are off the cards now.

But this is where i am lost, out of all the others the HCA scores are not good, does that mean the diamonds are going to be bad? Im not sure if i am rejecting stones that might be ok!
