platinum e-ring, white gold wedding band

Hi,
Will there be a visible difference if I wear a platinum e-ring with a 10k white gold wedding band? Also, does anyone know what the different K''s of white gold mean? I''ve heard of 10k, 14k, 18k. Thanks!

Hi! The k''s mean how much gold is mixed with the other alloys, 10K has the least gold, 18K has the most. I don''t think there''s a visible difference, but the white gold may yellow a bit in time, and I''ve heard that platinum will eventually wear through any gold it''s worn right next to, because the gold is softer... hopefully the experts will comment.
