Bellagio and Le Cirque. I stayed there a few years ago for a big ole birthday celebration of mine and we went to Le Cirque (located in the hotel). Truly a luxury experience and a wonderful memory. The conservatory and garden area at the Bellagio is just gorgeous and you are just surrounded by luxe with all of the shops and restaurants.

You will have a great trip regardless - such a fun town!

This! We stayed here & watched Cirque do The Beatles "Love" which was truly stunning! I'm going back 12 years though, but such a great place to go.

My favorite Vegas hotels are the Wynn/Encore and the Cosmopolitan. Restaurant wise, The NoMad Restaurant, Picasso, Lavo, STK, and Momofuku are great. Check out Thrillist.com for other recommendations and be sure to make reservations! Show wise, can't go wrong with Cirque, Le Reve, and Blue Man Group. If you're looking for a club, XS and OMNIA. Best to get front of line tickets or a table, waiting to get into a club is no fun! And the shopping is amazing at the Wynn/Encore, Bellagio, and The Shops at Crystals (Aria). I've never done them, but there are exotic car racing experiences and helicopter rides over the Grand Canyon too, that your hubby might enjoy!

I did a deluxe air tour of the Grand Canyon. About $500/person but well worth it. A shuttle picked me up from the hotel and took me to a larger charter bus. From there, the bus drove to Boulder City to a small airport. Airplanes (about 12 people to the airplane) took us on a tour over the Hoover Dam, Lake Mead, and other gorgeous sites along the way. I did the morning session which timed to watching the sunrise over the mountains surrounding the airport and foggy/colored sky over the dam and lake. I did the full tour so got on a helicopter from the airport near the canyon. 30 minutes of flying through the canyon! I saw the North, south, and west rims. After that, back on a shuttle to see the usual stuff through the canyon including the Bright Angel Lodge. Airplane back same way I came. They took photos with the airplane and helicopter plus some cool gift shops at the canyon and the first airport. (Tip there is to buy from the gift shop when you return so you don't have to carry stuff!)

Added bonus is that it was relatively quick! I was back to the hotel by 1pm so plenty of time to rest and get ready for evening activities.

I've always wanted to try real Kobe beef.
It is the most tender beef and fascinating to read about.

I love watching the videos of it prepared in Tokyo by those teppanyaki chefs.

Many US restaurants claim they serve Kobe beef, but are lying.
Per this link are only 8 of restaurants in the USA authorized to import and serve real certified Kobe beef.
Amazingly, three of the eight are in LV.

QUOTE: "For the record, these are the eight restaurants authorized to sell Kobe beef in the U.S."

— 212 Steakhouse Restaurant, New York, NY
— Alexander’s Steakhouse-Cupertino, Cupertino, CA
— Alexander’s Steakhouse-San Francisco Restaurant, San Francisco, CA
— SLS Las Vegas – Bazaar Meat by José Andrés Restaurant, Las Vegas, NV
— Jean Georges Steakhouse, Aria Resort and Casino, Las Vegas, NV
— Nick & Sam’s Restaurant, Dallas, TX
— Wynn Las Vegas – SW Steakhouse Restaurant, Las Vegas, NV
— Teppanyaki Ginza Onodera, Honolulu, HI

It will probably be hundreds of dollars per serving.
If you go try it, let me know how it was.

I've done the helicopter rides over the Canyon with my FI and if you're looking for luxe - this is it! And we got it through Costco - Serenity is the name of the company. And I agree on Wynn and Bellagio for lux.

Recommend calling Serenity and saying you are interested in booking through Costco. They offered us a deal to book directly.

We like the Cosmopolitan. It’s fairly new and in a central location.

If you don’t already own a Lamborghini or other luxury car, you can rent one for your stay! A quick google search should pull up the info.
