Newbie here and I'm trying to put together the best ring possible to propose to my girlfriend within the next month or two.
My budget is about $6500 and based on my girlfriend's taste in ring's, I believe a halo type ring setting will be something she will absolutely love.
The setting that caught my attention the most thus far is:
http://www.jamesallen.com/#!/Engage...Diamond-Engagement-Ring-Oval-Center-item-6812
Now I don't know much about diamond's, other than my recent research on the four C's, but I would have to think this diamond would be a good fit for that setting:
http://www.jamesallen.com/#!/loose-diamonds/Oval-cut/0.93-carat-F-color-VS1-clarity-sku-91238
Anyone have an opinion on how the diamond would look in that setting?
I just don't know about enough about the crown, girdle and pavilion percentages to determine, based purely on the numbers, if that would be a good fit and look really good.
I'm definitely open to any suggestion's or advice.
