Plain E Ring band with milgrain W Band

Hi all! As I am nearer to getting my engagement ring

I started thinking about wedding bands... (nothing like getting ahead of the game right?) We''ve always loved the idea of my FFI and I having matching wedding bands. He likes pretty simple bands with minimal detailing. It also can be hard to find matching men''s and women''s WBs, particularly since he wears a 12.5 and we''re hoping not to have to have anything custom made to save some $$$.

Personally, I don''t think I''d want a perfectly matching ER and WB, and I thought I''d bring up this possible match up and see what the wonderful folks here at PS thought! So below is the ER I want, a platinum, WF Legato Sleek line with RB (that''s approx. 2.5 on the bottom and sides, tapering to 1.9mm at top) and in the next message I''ll post the WB candidate.

I think they will look nice together, but take it from a girl who''s on her second wedding band 6 months before the wedding... try them on together before you buy!! Good luck!

Wow DD! Wonderful thread... I''m sorry my searches didn''t turn it up sooner. I myself envision having a ''blingy'' eternity band someday, but I really want a plain WB for now. Call me old fashioned, but I really want something simple I can wear my whole life and then pull out the eternity band for special occasions. For all I know in 5 or 10 years I may no longer want an eternity band... and it will probably be at least 5 or 10 years before I can even think about getting an eternity band.

I did get the feeling that milgrain isn''t the most popular option on this forum, lol. But I''ll definitely still keep it and rings like the second one you showed as my first option until I can see sets in person.

I''ll admit, I was hoping that maybe one of the members who has a similar set situation and has a picture or two to share to tide me over until I can shop in person would pop in here

I think they would make a beautiful pair! I have paired my three stone with a milgrain band (3mm) and I love the look.
